Grilled Zucchini and Mushrooms

Grilled Zucchini and Mushrooms; an easy and tasty way to grill veggies! @natashaskitchen

There’s nothing like the sweet smell of grilled veggies, (or grilled anything!), floating through the air in the backyard. I love that this Grilled Zucchini and Mushrooms recipe is so easy and just takes 10 minutes of prep. There’s no tedious skewering, or lengthy prep required. If you haven’t tried grilling with a basket, I think you’ll love it!

My cousin’s wife, Katya shared this recipe with me after my other cousin’s wife, Alla, told me that Katya made this great zucchini! Katya got the recipe from her friend Yana. Confused? 😉 I love it when there is a story behind a recipe! This grilled zucchini recipe is so simple and tastes great! I hope you all enjoy it!

We have grilled this recipe many times this year using the black reusable grill sheets. The leftovers are great on top of a salad for lunch the next day, because they already have the vinaigrette on them! Thank you for sharing! Reply

I’m wondering if using your Moroccan Marinade for this method of grilling would work (and taste the same as the veggie skewers)… Reply

Can you do this without a grill basket? Say in the oven or something?

It looks delicious and I would love to try it. Just grilling is not convenient.

    Thank you! Reply

Yes it would probably work in the oven but without testing it myself, I can’t give you exact baking times. I’d also recommend putting it into a non-stick skillet and cooking it on the stove-top. 🙂 Reply

You can, but without testing it I can’t tell you exact time when it will be done. Stove top would work great as well :). Reply

  • Wow, this looks amazing! I normally avoid mushrooms in recipes because my husband dislikes them but I think I may have to make an exception for this dish. Reply

Oh I hope you LOVE them! I think the mushrooms are the tastiest in this recipe. They take on the most flavor 🙂 Reply
