I’m giving away my favorite 24×18 John Boos cutting board and board cream. This is an American black walnut block and it’s quite a stunner. Visitors always shower my cutting board with compliments.

I remember the first time it graced my counter. I was a little intimidated to start using it because it was so perfect and lovely and I didn’t want to scratch it. I just wanted to massage it with the John Boos cream and keep it shiny. Then I got over it and discovered that it is as practical as it is beautiful.

Now about the beeswax board cream. The winner get’s the cream too! It’s fantastic and food-grade so you don’t have to wash your board after using it. It’s also great to use on ALL of your wooden cutting boards, rolling pins and cooking utensils to keep them bright and beautiful and prevent warping. Our climate in Idaho is dry and it has caused some of my old cheaper cutting boards to crack and warp. I wish I had discovered this wonderful cream sooner. Dim the lights, turn on some Christmas music and start massaging your board. Ok, don’t dim the lights; that’s weird.
