2. Natalie who wrote: “I will be cooking up a storm in the kitchen when i have my friends over. I love making rabbit… MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MEAT. Its not easy to come by at your regular grocery store, but most Asian stores carry it, for a decent price too. I love to place that little animal in a glass baking dish add some seasoning a bit of heavy whipping cream and some potatoes. It comes out of the oven OH just so yummy:)

Here are some recent photos of our little Family 🙂
Our son is growing up so quickly. He was just 3 months when I started this blog. He’s now 3 years old! So thankful to God for him.
So blessed to be married to Vadim for the past 9 years.
You don’t want to know what he was telling me. LOL.

This is my first time posting on this website but I’ve been a FAN of this website ever since I was married and that’s almost 2.5 years; and this website has served me well in my kitchen for my home and family. We’ve shared all the goodies on this website with all my family and friends from WA and Alaska, ( that’s where I’m from -AK) and we all love it and always check it out for new cool yummy recipes. So for now, my all time favorite thing to make are the newest cupcakes from this website French breakfast muffins recipe. This was my first time ever making any cupcakes (cause I thought that they were always cheesy) but oh my are they so GOOD and easy to make! YUM! Thank you for all your hard work put into this website, God Bless you.

My most favorite thing to make is an omelette. There are so many variations!
i just liked your page on facebook 🙂
but my favorite thing to cook is cake. especially spartak. it is the most agonizing and painstaking cake for me(since i bake only on special occasions, once a month if that)
BUT Spartak is just so GOOD and heavenly and everyone seems to love it too! (my boyfriends parents were over for our Jatva and i made a Spartak for us to have at home for tea, after church on Sunday we had a lunch in church and my boyfriends dad told me that he didn’t get any cake at the lunch because there were none good enough compared to Spartak 🙂
thank you NATASHA 🙂
also i like cooking eggs.
God bless you girl and keep cooking!
Natasha, LOVE your blog! Congratulations on your 3rd blogoversary! What an accomplishment. You certainly made this blog a success and it’s helping so many cooks around the world. I found your blog about 2 years ago by searching for “Russian food blogs” in Google and I’m so happy to have “met” such a wonderful young women.
The pictures are beautiful. You have a gorgeous family.
I don’t think I have a favorite thing to cook, although trying new recipes would definitely be it. I prefer cooking over baking and like trying new and challenging things. Or coming up with my own variation to many different dishes. I guess this especially applies to all the great Russian recipes that don’t really have “recipes”, but a bit of this and a dash of that.
Good luck. You are doing an incredible job.
Heyy darling! Your recipes are AMAZING! I’m secretly telling everyoneeee about your blog. HAHA. And I come from a hugee family, so you’ll be having a million views soon lol. Not quite that much but ya know.. Around there ;))
My all time favorite thing to cook is either manti, or I love making lagman! Ever heard of it?! It’s amazinggggg!
Keep up the awesome work!
Love it.
Galinka
I love Apple Streudel Pirog. It is very rich & moist and it’s great with either coffee or tea.
Happy Birthday and Congratulations to you for such a succesful blog! My favorite thing to cook is Plov. I’ve made so many different variations of the same dish, and still enjoy the complication and the flavoring of the old traditional dish.
Wow girl, you look very good for your age. I thought you were about 23 the whole time. Thanks for your hard work!
I have 3 kids, so my favorite thing to cook is home made baby food. I have a baby food processor that steams and processes all in one step and I have been making food for my little blessings. It feels very good to know that my babies are getting the best nutrition possible with least processing.
I also LOVE baking cakes and pirozhki. I bake a few times a week. I mostly bake Russian cakes like beskvit or bulockki with any filling and roulette.
Here is a link to a very good cake that I recently made. It’s called Kvaefjord cake which translates to “WORLD’s BEST CAKE” http://missingflavor.blogspot.com/2010/05/kvaefjord-cake-and-norwegian-spirit.html
First of all, thank you for your wonderful website, I have so many copies with your recopies in my kitchen cupboard. You really make cooking look exiting and easy… I really enjoy baking spartak cake… It’s so good and easy to make and my kids love helping me. So far “spartak” is our favorite!
