Cookbook Heaven

I just got back from the library with 3 new cookbooks; excited to explore them.
1. Gordon Ramsay Cooking for Friends
2. Paula Deen’s The Deen Family Cookbook
3. Make it Fast Cook it Slow – The Big Book of Everyday Slow Cooking by Stephanie O’Dea

It cost me zero, zilch, nada! Instead of spending money on cookbooks, its smart to get them at the library first to test some of the recipes. Then if you fall in love with one, you can buy it. Better than having loads of expensive books on your shelf that collect dust.

Check if your library has the same system as mine. I can go online, find whatever books I want, place a hold on the next available copy and they call me when it comes in. That way, it only takes me 2 minutes to walk in, check out and head home!

I did like it. He’s a good cook. My baked zucchini was based on part of his recipe and it’s one of our favorites. I think he definitely knows his stuff 🙂 Reply
