Our Family Date Day

Natasha in a canoe

Vadim was off so we spent the entire day together. I savor every day off that my hubby gets; not just because it’s nice to have an extra set of hands for baby duty. We went to Chilis for lunch, then Vadim took me to Eagle Island for a romantic canoe ride.

Even Eagle Island (where we saw a large dead rat in the water) can be romantic when you are with the right person. We found some shady spots to park our boat and we just sat and talked while we indulged in ice-cold Dr. P.

Vadim did most of the rowing.

David loved the fries!! I should make him some potato wedges; the healthier version.

Looks like you guys had a great time. I wasn’t aware that they had boats to rent at Eagle Island, but then again its been a while since last time I was there 🙂

Awww, thank you Veronica. You are so sweet. It was a nice day. My husband is more the adventurous outdoors type and I like the great “In”doors. But I’m always glad when he gets me out of the house.
