    Hello Natasha!

Thank you so much for this website! It’s really helping me acquire and improve my cooking skills. I was wondering if you have any breakfast recipes that involve protein (not necessarily eggs only). My bf eats sausages every day, and the only way I can get him to stop is if I come up with fast and filling alternative that involves some meat, eggs alone would not be enough. Preferably something that can be reheated, because I leave work 3 hours before he does, and I know he won’t spend time cooking in the morning.

    Any suggestions or ideas?

    Thank you!

Dairy is a great source of protein. Have you tried these apple cottage cheese pancakes: https://natashaskitchen.com/2012/10/10/apple-and-cottage-cheese-pancakes/ or the farmers cheese pancakes? https://natashaskitchen.com/2012/02/16/ukrainian-syrniki-recipe/ The mashed potato pancakes have a decent amount of cheese in them also 🙂

I tried to make Apple Pancakes a while back. I used nectar honey, and the flavor was so strong, not everyone liked it (I loved it thou). I think I will try to make it again this weekend! Thank you once again!

Nectar honey and honey in general are sweeter than sugar. So next time you make it, try use a little less next time and the flavor won’t be so sweet and overwhelming.

Hey Natasha. I’m new here and I was wondering if you could do kasha recipes for breakfast. My mannaya kasha is so-so, grechnaya kasha is just edible and the rest come out disastrous. I really want to try wheat kasha.

    Olga!
About the prunes. You stuff the prunes with walnuts, set them out on the plate and then you eather mix condenced milk with sour cream or just condenced milk alone, howevet you like it. Pour it over and its done! :)) love those!
