Green Smoothie Recipe
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

My husband (the smoothie master) created this green smoothie recipe. It's a green power smoothie is what it is! This recipe is so simple, seriously healthy and sooo refreshing! We always like to have at least one frozen fruit in this smoothie to make it chilled and thicken it up a little. Frozen pineapple is inexpensive and we always keep a jumbo Costco-sized bag of it in the freezer for occasions such as these.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 orange, peeled
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple
- 2 tsp chia seeds, optional
Instructions
-
Place everything in a blender in the order listed, starting with the liquid and ending with the frozen fruit and chia seeds (if using).
-
Blend until smooth and transfer into two tall glasses.
