Natasha\'s family sitting in front of a Christmas tree

As much as I would love to send each of you a Christmas card, it would be logistically impossible, so we filmed a quick 1 minute Christmas greeting from our family. We recorded it Christmas Eve just before we exchanged gifts. Oh and it snowed today so we’re having a white Christmas (you can see more of that on my snapchat story – find me @natashaskitchen).

P.S. If you’re wondering, my son memorized that entire verse (he wasn’t reading it off a teleprompter – because we don’t have a teleprompter).

He is a very talented memorizer and such a thoughtful child. The other day I watched the video clip of the wrong Miss Universe getting crowned (poor girls) and he watched it with me. He asked if the contest was for who is the prettiest then he said “Why are you not on there?” My buttercup. He’s so sweet. He’ll make his future wife a very happy girl :).

Anyway, back to Christmas Eve. It’s a very meaningful day for us in more ways than one. We had our big dinner at my Parent’s on Christmas Eve and 13 year ago, my husband proposed ❤️.

Greeting-2

A new tradition we started is to read the Christmas story to our children before the gift exchange. It’s so much more meaningful when you have a heart filled with thankfulness and the true meaning of Christmas. I’m also truly thankful for you!

Thank you for following our blog, sharing our recipes with the people you love, keeping in touch through comments and social media, and even sharing your recipes with us! It’s always an honor and a privilege to see that one of our recipes has graced your families table; especially if it pleased your picky eaters! 🙂 Seriously and for reals, thank you my friends!

I hope you enjoyed the video greeting and have a Merry Christmas!! ??
