What a wonderful idea to write Gods word on the walls of your home. You radiate the love of Jesus as you cook! We are sisters in Christ.
Here’s a great verse:
“Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.”
Psalms 127:1 NKJV
Beautiful soul, amazing food. LOVE IT
Thanks for following Emma!

Will thighs work the same as breasts in chicken and shroom casserole? Am new to your site, but like what I see. Thanks.
Hi Dennis, that should work great with trimmed chicken thighs 🙂
Hi Natasha!
I was delighted when I saw your blog about Ukrainian recipes. I am 100% Ukrainian. I am always looking for classic Ukrainian recipes and new Ukrainian recipes! My baba was a fabulous cook and made pantry dill pickles in the jar, almond cakes of some kind, holopchy and pyrohy! I am looking forward to hearing from you and reading more recipes!
Hello Karen! I’m glad you found my page! Thanks for following and please let me know what you think of the recipes! 🙂
My sister in law’s family came from the Eukraine. Joan Styran was THE BEST COOK. I have her pierogi recipes that took almost all day to make. Oh, were they ever GOOD!!! She was very dear to me. When I saw your family was from that area I knew I HAD to sign up. I will have to share with my niece, Karen, Joanie’s daughter,if I can. Of course, Karen grew up knowing her mother’s marvelous cooking.
I’m so glad you found my blog Judy! Thanks for following and sharing with friends and family! 🙂
Natasha, I love and appreciate your recipes! I am of Lebanese heritage but enjoy cooking and have wonderful recipes from many ethnic backgrounds.I do especially enjoy what you publish. The avocado, tomato and red onion salad is one I cannot wait to prepare! Best wishes for continued success to you!
Thank you so much Diane! Thanks for following and please let me know what you think of the salad recipe!
Can you freeze your cupcake recipe and do they taste delicious still once defrosted. They will only be dozen for 3 days.
I’m baking a 3 layer birthday cake using your recipe, the sponges look amazing and I hope taste as good as the cupcake.
Thanks
I hope you love it as a cake. I’ve had several readers report good results turning them into cake layers. You will need 1 full recipe for each 9″ cake round. I haven’t tried freezing this recipe but I imagine it would work well.
My mom freezes her cakes and with especially the chocolate I think they turn out better. More moist for some reason. So you can keep that in mind. Oh and my mom is known for her baking. Have you ever had Kolaches? Her are killer.
Thank you so much for sharing your insights. I would love to try her kolaches if you can share the recipe! Thanks Suzi!! 🙂
What kind of cucumbers was that with the green coating on it I have some and need to know the name so I can order more I’m just about out thanks
To be honest, I have no idea what they’re called. My mom got the seeds from Ukraine. They weren’t in a package that was labeled with anything so I’m not sure. It might be rodnichok or something like that.
Zdravstvuite Natasha!
I am Russian and I am new to your blog!
I love your food pictures and website design! ( I am a graphic designer).
Question: Do you have a recipe of Kvashenaya Kapusta with cranberries?
I will be very happy to make it!
– Spasibo!
Hello and welcome to my blog! Is this what you are looking for: https://natashaskitchen.com/2014/01/02/cabbage-carrot-and-cranberry-salad-recipe/?
Gone through all your recipes. You have some good ones that I will try. Most of my cooking is Polish but Ukraine was part of Poland in the past. So I see why I like your offerings. Thanks.
Welcome to the site, I hope you’ll find lots of new favorites :).
Hi Natasha,
totally love your recipes,
but I always have a hurdle to pass, when making them. I live in Belgium and we don’t use cups and ounces,… There is no general knowledge about them here. I always have to use a converter to put everything to grams, milliliter,..
I wonder if it was possible (as a suggestion) to put the quantities in two styles in the printable recipes?
It would help me soo much,…
I’m looking into getting a converter on my blog, but I’m not sure if it will work yet. Thank you so much for the tip! I don’t think I’ll be able to include it in the print friendly because it might be confusing for those who are using the US form of measurements.
Здравствуйте, Наташа! Я бы хотела поделиться рецептом, но он в русских мерах. Я могу вам его отправить на e-mail?
Hi Sveta, I would love to try your recipe! My email is: Natashaskitchen@ yahoo.com (no spaces). Thank you so much for thinking of me and sharing! 🙂
Hi Natasha. I love all your tips and recipies. Can you anytime make a video for macaroons? 🙂
My husband has been bugging me about doing that very thing. Maybe once the baby gets a little more of a sleep routine – it would be difficult to start filming and have her wake up in the middle of it. 🙂
I have been asked by a friend to help with his sons upcoming wedding. He caters BBQ on the side; so the main dish is well taken care of, but is stumped with a particular side dish. The bride wants roasted red potatoes, in which has asked me to investigate and help with. I am now starting my search for a great recipe that will be delicious, as there will be about 300 people total. My question is if you would recommend your “Oven Roasted Baby Red Potatoes” for a wedding? As you know, there is only one shot at this, and it needs to be fantastic. What do you think?
Thanks,
Ed
I definitely have never made food for that many people. I do think the red potatoes would be a great side on a wedding menu, as long as you have the equipment to cook and can keep it warm efficiently.
Hello Natasha!
I have been meaning to write to you for ages! My daughter and I discovered your channel via your Tiramisu recipe while living in Malaysia last year and since then we have been hooked. Actually my daughter, who is now 3 years old, affectionately refers to you as “Aunty Natasha” and treats you like a close family friend. She memorized your tiramisu recipe verbatim last year and still recites it out to family and friends. She watches your videos so often and gets so excited when you upload a new one, especially with the baby in your tummy! I have always brought my daughter with me into the kitchen when I bake and through that, and watching you on youtube, she has developed a love of baking and cooking shows. We recently launched her own youtube channel and she named it Marwah’s Kitchen! I like to give credit where credit is due and I know that it was because of you and your great videos that she developed this love for baking and cooking shows. I just wanted to share with you our story and to thank you for inspiring my little girl, who will soon turn 4. As Muslims we also appreciate how spiritual you are as a family. Marwah loved the icing rose demo where your son prayed at the end. We are so excited for your new arrival and truly feel like you are part of our family! Thank you again for letting us into your home and life and for becoming an affectionate part of ours and for inspiring my little girl to embark on her own baking journey. Please remember us in your prayers!
Tasneem, that is one of the sweetest comments I’ve ever received. Marwah is so so cute! I love her YouTube video for Peanut butter chocolate chip muffins. “Valina” – aww I love her! I’m so impressed. She is so smart! I’m amazed that she memorizes recipes like that. I am her newest subscriber :). Thank you so much for writing. God bless you and your little girl in all her cooking adventures 🙂
Privet!:) How do you make the dough for this?
Dough for what? Can you clarify? There is no recipe on this page. Thanks!
How do you make the dough for Cheesecake Danish Recipe?:)
I use the store-bought Pepperidge Farms Puff pastry.
Hi Natasha!
Have you ever tried making macaroons? I’ve always wanted to make them but I am so intimidated by them! So I thought maybe if you had a tried recipe I would definitely follow it!
oh, i mean macarons, not macaroons. Because apparently these are two different kinds of cookies lol
I figured that’s what you meant. So many Russian and Ukrainian folks are interested in them. Unfortunately, I don’t have a recipe posted for them. I might post one in the future, but I just don’t make them often enough to say I have a fantastic recipe yet. My son doesn’t eat nuts so I feel bad making desserts that he can’t enjoy.
Hello, my friend and I were recently looking for a chicken gravy recipe that we had used previously but could not find it anywhere on your website. You dipped the chicken in flour fried them than made a sauce with better than bullion chicken and put it in the oven… I was wondering where it went and why? It was so ver delicious.
Are you talking about the chicken and mushroom casserole? https://natashaskitchen.com/2011/04/17/chicken-and-mushroom-casserole/
Natashka. I was wondering if you know of any good gnochi recipes. I love gnochi but I feel like they would be hard to make. Thanks 🙂
I don’t currently, but that would be fun to do in the future! Thanks for the tip 🙂
Hi I love your website for some reason having hard time viewing it on my ipad I don’t know why can you help
I’m sorry that you been having trouble with loading Ira. Our developer has been working on it behind the scenes, but it should be working now. Let me know if you still have any trouble.
Hi Natasha,
It was Absolutely wonderful to have chanced upon your website while on my iPad one evening. Your recipies are so simple , but yet so delicious . I have tried the crispy zucchini, caprese crostini. And cream horns last Saturday when I had a dinner party. It blew my guests tastebuds as they all loved the crispy zuccinis. My daughter inlaw said that she would walk pass the zucchini isle in the supermarket and would never ever do so again after eating it at my place. THank you. For the lovely recipies . I can’t wait to try them all. It was nice seeing you come down under . Wa is a beautiful place where I come from and I hope you can make many more trips down under.
That’s fantastic!! I’m so happy you all loved the recipes so much 🙂 that’s music to my ears.
Dear Natasha:
I am a newlywed girl from Massachusetts! Who could not have imagined a life without your website! Thank you very much for sharing the recipes! I have made many of dishes and there is more to come 🙂
