About: I am the creator of Natasha’s Kitchen and the personality behind the recipe videos you’ll find here. I am also the author of the New York Times Best-Selling Cookbook, Natasha’s Kitchen, which was on the NYT List for 3 weeks in a row.
I love sharing tested and perfected family-friendly recipes that make everyday cooking enjoyable and stress-free. I am passionate about creating delicious, approachable dishes that bring joy to family meals.
The recipes on this site mirror my life as a busy mom, wife, and business owner. I need easy meals that the whole family will enjoy, but the cook in me craves flavorful and exciting dishes, too!
I share all of my best tips to succeed in the kitchen with foolproof recipes, detailed step-by-step photos, helpful video tutorials, ingredient and equipment recommendations, and pro tips from years of cooking experience.

Fun Facts:
- I was born in Ukraine and came to the US as a refugee when I was 4 years old.
- I have 4 sisters and we are born 1 year apart (my parents are my heroes).
- I love spending time outdoors with my husband and two children at our cabin in McCall.
- I’m a homebody who also loves travel – go figure!
- I genuinely love cooking – it’s therapeutic to me and deeply satisfying to make a meal that nourishes the people I love.
