Frosting Roses are gorgeous on cakes or cupcakes. I’ll let you in on a little secret; they are ridiculously quick and simple to make. You’ll be a pro in no time! If you need a last minute (super easy) dessert idea for Mother’s day or any special occasion, try these cupcakes! We baked the cupcakes, whipped the frosting, filmed, edited and posted all in one day.

That’s almost live (ohh Live TV, now that’s a scary notion, but who knows it may just be the next big social networking thing, but I still think it’s scary). I hope you enjoy this video.

Frosting Roses How-To Video:

I used the Wilton 2D Decorating tip  to make the roses.

    Natasha,
Did you use the frosting that you provided a link for in this video? Or was it buttercream frosting? The roses look so perfect. Reply

Thank you so much for putting this out there, I watched so many tutorials and they were all so difficult and daunting or time consuming. I was seriously starting to stress these roses because my niec wants rose bouquets at her sweet 16 ball and I hadnt yet found a way to make them pretty! Its only 2 weeks before her ball and finally thanks to your tutorial I can confidently make her bouquets thank you so much. Reply

If I were to do roses all over a cake should I spread frosting on it first? Reply

It’s not necessary if you keep the roses really close together. You can put on a thin layer to ensure you don’t have any gaps. Reply
