Two glass cups with a blueberry mango smoothie and blueberries and a halved lemon around the cups

With a new baby, I’m loving this blueberry mango smoothie because it provides a nice jolt of energy without the guilt. The natural sugars in fruit rev up your energy levels quickly without spiking your blood sugar as much as sugary sodas or heavily sweetened coffee would.

Also, the Greek Yogurt makes this a powerhouse of protein to help keep your energy up, and prevent the post sugar crash. Blebidy (nursing talk) bleh. You’ve been schooled ;).

Hi Sherry, I add the peeled lemon, half of it. If it helps, I have a photo of it in the recipe post. I hope that helps.

This looks delicious and cannot wait to try! One question I do have: Is the lemon meant to be blended in the smoothie or just the use of the juice?
I guess it couldn’t hurt to try either way! lol

Hi JoJo, we mix it into the smoothie with all ingredients! But like you said, it could work either way!
