It’s my birthday. I’m so thankful for a truly blessed 31 years of life and for my beautiful children and wonderful husband. Today also marks the 6-year anniversary of my blog. I’m also thankful for you who read and share my blog with the people you love. You know how when you fill a glass to the brim and it spills over the side? That’s about where my level of thankfulness is. God is so good.

I love the transitional seasons most – Spring and Fall. Fall is such a cozy time of year – stews puttering away on the stove and my kitchen laced with the sweet smell of baked goods. It’s also a lovely time to take photos against natures Autumn hues. This year, my photographer friend, Alla of In A Dream Photography, took our family photos alongside the Boise river and I thought she did a beautiful job capturing our family. Are you ready for a lot of pictures? 🙂

I couldn’t ask for a better husband and partner in blogging.

kissy kissy ❤️

The love between between my children is so sweet. They are so happy when they’re together.

Dad is her favorite. I can tell by her big grins and excitement every time he walks into the room 🙂

They make my heart sing 🙂

My boys woke me up this morning with their best “Happy Birthday” singing 🙂

I just want to squeeze her (gently). Our little buttercup. 🙂 We barely got her to stand for 2 seconds for this capture with Mom and Dad on both sides ready to catch her. She is 8 months old now – where does the time go?!

Also, we’re in Maui (I know – best birthday ever!) and I’ll share plenty of pictures when we get back. For now, I’ll be sharing on snapchat (find me @natashaskitchen), Facebook and Instagram.
“This is the day the Lord has made. we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24.
