My youngest sister, Sveta, is having a baby girl and her baby shower was last weekend. Sveta is a genuine, kind-hearted person. It’s interesting that during pregnancy, she is even nicer. What? I thought pregnant women usually have a short fuse? Nope! Not Sveta! Shes all-the-merrier. She’s a gem of a friend (i consider her my friend).
Those of you who are blessed to have her as such (and as your hair stylist) know that she is a good listener and always has some wisdom to pass along. Sveta, I am blessed to have you as my younger sister.
I have to say this was the most elegant and beautiful shower I’ve ever had the privilege to attend. If you didn’t know, there are five girls in our family and she is the last of the five sisters to have a baby (the youngest are always the most spoiled right?).
My sister Alla was the brains and creativity behind this operation and we were doing her bidding. She definitely outdid herself (as usual) sewing what seemed like miles of bunting and all kinds of other pretty’s.
Sveta, what made the party great was knowing you had fun. Here’s a peak at the decor, radiant mama and some of the guests (don’t worry, I omitted pictures where people looked extremely hungry or unusually awkward).

Thankfully this was only a doll. Poor doll. But they did manage to get her diapered and dressed with one hand each; yep, you’re ready for parenting!

Sveta, I can’t wait to meet your little princess! God bless you in the rest of your pregnancy and delivery!
