Hi Ester, you can buy phyllo dough (aka fillo dough) in most large grocery stores like Fred Meyer or Walmart and it is located in the freezer section next to the puff pastry. Reply

Made this on the weekend an it was so good, I think I ate the whole pan by myself in two days!
I’m allergic to walnuts so used pecans and almonds.
Wonderful recipe and a keeper for sure!
    Thanks Natasha Reply

    Hi!
Wonderful receipe! So easy and delicious! However, the top 10 layers didn’t stick to the nut layer and would come off. Any suggestions on how to keep it stuck on there?

    Thanks! Reply

Hi Priya, you might try brushing with a little more butter on the top layers. Also, add the syrup slowly at the end to give the layers a chance to absorb some of it so it doesn’t just all go to the bottom. I hope that helps! 🙂 Reply

Hi Madhura, I haven’t tried this in a glass pan but I would keep the baking temperature and time the same. Reply

For the syrup I’d suggest putting 1-2 cinnamon canes in as well 2-3 lemon skins in and remove them when it’s time to pour the syrop.

The syrup shoul be HOT when you pour it in the hot baklava.

You are buttering the sheets way too much. Less is better. Reply
