This Avocado Feta Caesar Salad was a huge hit with my family. They cleaned out the bowl. We’ve been so into salad lately which has helped me shed the few extra pounds that I gained from nursing school. The ingredient that put this salad into over the top  yumm was the homemade caesar dressing

Ingredients for Avocado Feta Caesar Salad:

2 large heads of romaine lettuce
1-2 avocados
3 medium tomatoes
1 yellow or red bell pepper
1 small red onion
1/2 cup feta cheese
1 cup Caesar dressing (We used half of this Caesar dressing recipe)

How to Make Avocado Feta Caesar Salad:

1. Chop the romaine lettuce. Rinse and dry the lettuce using this OXO salad spinner (Amazon affiliate link). Place in a large serving bowl.

P.S. If you want to have salad ready to go, just put it in a giant zip loc bag after you spin it dry and store it in the fridge.

I like to add a little bit of dressing to the leaves at this point if I’m serving it right away to make sure the lettuce gets a nice coating of it.

2. Slice the tomatoes, red bell pepper and avocados. Add them to the bowl.

3. Finely chop red onion and sprinkle it over the salad along with the feta cheese.

4. Just before serving, drizzle with Caesar dressing and mix. Oh snap; I forgot croutons. Toss them in too.

    Happy Mother’s Day Natasha!!!

This year is the first for me! I became a mom to a beautiful daughter just two plus months ago and I’m loving it! Now I can’t imagine my life without my precious sweetie! Sure it’s a lot of full time devotion but I find it so rewarding! I’m so looking forward to a lifetime of being a mom! Slowly but surely I’m starting to understand my mom better 🙂 When I was a kid I used to think that she was way too overprotective, etc… but after some discussions with my husband, I know that we will be quite protective over our priceless gift from God for sure!

I would like to tell you how much I enjoy being a full time mom (for the last few years, since giving birth to twin girls). I could never leave them with any one, they are just so precious and joy to watch them grow, even though my 3 older children I have left with family members while going through college and getting my degree but right now, nothing is more important then family, not a good paying job, not a good degree…. My husband and I have decided that no one will take better care of them than I and time with them is so precious !!! I hope that we as Christian realize what comes first in our lives. Be blessed !!!

My mother is an amazing woman she raised 10 children all to love God.
I am always amazed of her sweet and tender heart. Not only did she raise 10 of us but now she’s there for her grandchildren, always willing to babysit anytime
day or night. Very Thankful to God for my best mother in the world.

My mother… is my Dear Hero.
She’s Always set a good example by lending a hand to those in need. She’s Caring and trustworthy, has a kind and loving heart. Always ready to listen. Even though I didn’t like it when at times she’d punish me when I was younger, the nights spent on her knees paid off. Her prayers have really meant a lot to me. She’s taught me everything I know from the simplest to the hardest things. She’s taught me to walk and fly on my own because she knows that one day I will be leaving the nest like a little birdie. And even then I know she will encourage me and keep me in her prayers like she has all these years. She is my hero never losing faith in me, when everyone else has, telling me that I can do it!

To Mom: ” You are my hero Mom and always will have a special place in my heart. Without you guiding me in every step I would have fallen Long ago, But you have lead me onto the right path and showed me the path to Christ. I pray to be the patient, kind, and loving mother that you always are. So that my children can look up to me just like I look up to You. I love You my Dear Hero and Mom. Happy Mothers Day”

I thank God for my mama everyday. She lost her husband, our father almost 4 years ago. I pray that one day I have the wisdom, courage and humbleness as my mother. I realized just how precious my mama is when I gave birth to my own daughter. I think the first couple months I called my mom about 20 a day asking for advice. There is no better friend than your mom. She is my best friend!

God may not be a part of our lives but my mom helped raise me since I was 11 (I’m 18 now) all by herself after my dad died, bought a house, has now been looking after my 3 aboriginal cousins for the last 4 years as their foster mom, and took in another boy who is 14. She is an amazing woman and I would give her the world if I could.
