This Avocado Feta Caesar Salad was a huge hit with my family. They cleaned out the bowl. We’ve been so into salad lately which has helped me shed the few extra pounds that I gained from nursing school. The ingredient that put this salad into over the top yumm was the homemade caesar dressing.
Ingredients for Avocado Feta Caesar Salad:
2 large heads of romaine lettuce
1-2 avocados
3 medium tomatoes
1 yellow or red bell pepper
1 small red onion
1/2 cup feta cheese
1 cup Caesar dressing (We used half of this Caesar dressing recipe)
How to Make Avocado Feta Caesar Salad:
1. Chop the romaine lettuce. Rinse and dry the lettuce using this OXO salad spinner (Amazon affiliate link). Place in a large serving bowl.
P.S. If you want to have salad ready to go, just put it in a giant zip loc bag after you spin it dry and store it in the fridge.
I like to add a little bit of dressing to the leaves at this point if I’m serving it right away to make sure the lettuce gets a nice coating of it.
2. Slice the tomatoes, red bell pepper and avocados. Add them to the bowl.
3. Finely chop red onion and sprinkle it over the salad along with the feta cheese.
4. Just before serving, drizzle with Caesar dressing and mix. Oh snap; I forgot croutons. Toss them in too.
Happy Mother’s day to all the Mom’s who read this blog and all those who will be Mom’s one day; and all of those who were birthed by moms. I’m pretty sure that covers everyone!!

What’s a good brand of ceaser dressing to buy for this salad? Don’t have time to make your homemade one 🙁
The lighthouse refrigerated one is good. Newmans Own is also pretty good 🙂
Hey, just wanted to say that I recently bought the OXO Salad Spinner, and I am so thrilled with it!!! We planted a large crop of romaine lettuce, spinach, and curly lettuce this year, so there was no way I could get by without a salad spinner. It would just take too long to dry the greens on paper towels.
Thanks for your recommendation, I went out and bought the OXO. I love using it! Works like a charm! (;
You are welcome Hope. We love using our OXO spinner as well, so easy and quick :).

I am blessed with two amazing moms.. My mother and my Mom in law. I want to give the a shout out and tell them how much i appreciate them.. My mother was my biggest cheerleader while i was in Grad School and my mother in law was such a huge support. I was pregnant my last semester of school and couldnt cook. Everyday when i would come home there were pot of meals waiting on the porch next to my door, from both of them. Now how thoughtful is that.. Thank you so much moms.. Love you both.
Once again, thank you so much for this blog and for your delicious easy to follow recipes

Natasha, let me start off with how much I love your blog! This is always my first go-to site for yummy recipes. I love all the pictures as well! May God bless you for all the hard work you put into this. I’m always inspired to try something new from here.
Becoming a mother 3 years ago, I learned that it is the most selfless and most difficult job I could ever do but also the most rewarding one. I love to see my children happy and coming to me as their number 1 person! Everyday, I aspire to be like my mother. I can truly say I can see Jesus shining through her! I’m so thankful to have her as my mother.
Happy Mother’s Day to all you hardworking, selfless mommies out there. Our job is never done!
1. Being a mom is the best job in the world. It has its challenges between school, work, being a wife and trying to be the best of a mom, but at the end of the day coming home to see them smile and being surrounded by all their love and kisses makes it so worth it! Its a challenge and probably impossible trying to the “perfect” mom but at least i know I’m doing the best i can.
In my life i would like to the mom that my mother has been. She has surrounded me with love, joy, comfort and pure happiness. She made me become the happy and jolly person i am today. Not only is she my best friend but throughout my entire youth she was always the person i can talk to when in doubt, in shame or just needed a shoulder to cry on. Above all she raised me to be a daughter of God and taught me how to love Jesus.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! I am blessed with 3 wonderfun kids that God gave us and even though it’s hard at times, I’m so glad they are part of my life. I don’t know how my mom or my mother-in-law raised 8-9 kids each in hard conditions back home. Being moms is the hardest job in the world in my opinion and at the same time so rewarding. Happy Mother’s Day again and may God help us to be the best moms and to be the light to our kids.
Happy Mothers Day to all you amazing mommas out there! It is such a blessing To be a momma. Wanted to say what an amazing mom I have been blessed with who has taught me so much about motherhood by her amaing & selfless acts. After having my son & daughter, I realized how much our mothers had sacrificed their everything to better our lives. Mommas are truly amazing! May each & everyone of you mothers be blessed. May our Father above continue to give us the unconditional love, strength, & wisdom in raising our precious blessings for His glory! Happy Mothers Day!
Ps… You are an inspiring momma yourself dear Natashenka! Blessings to you!
My Mom passed away 6 years ago…and was the most amazing Mom anybody can have. She was very strong in every way. She went through a lot during the WW2…….as a teenager. But she never let anything down and was always there to support us and worked very hard till she got ill. Her Ukie home cooking was the best and I’ve never had anybody’s else that would match up to it. I have all her Ukrainian recipes and will pass them down to the Family.
Happy Mother’s Day!!!!!
My husband’s family has a tradition of meeting for a picnic every Mother’s Day so that’s what we will be doing! I usually make a separate treat for the mothers to hand out in little baggies. We have a lot of fun. 🙂 Your salad looks so yummy!
Hi, Natasha

I am abundantly blessed. Not many people get to say that they have 3 Mothers. My mom has been an amazing support to me. She watched my 3 children (my second I had right in the middle of the nursing program). She has been my biggest cheerleader. My mother-in-law and step mother-in-law treat me as if I am their own. All three of these wonderful women have lived very hard lives. They share their knowledge from their life experiences in very kind and gentle ways. I am honored to be their daughter.
I absolutely love being a mother. It is my calling and I am very passionate about it. Thank you Natasha for your help in this. I love cooking for them and your blog has helped me in this. On those days I just didn’t know what to make, I’ve prepared great meals using your recipes. God bless you and your family. I hope you enjoy this mother’s day. Congratulations on finishing nursing school.
Wow that is quite a blessing and I don’t know how you did that (a baby in the middle of nursing school!) its so awesome to have that kind of support from your family.
Being a mother myself makes me respect my mom so much more! She raised 4 kids and successfully homeschooled us all! I aspire to have as much patience and knowledge as her!
