hi again, i was wondering if maybe you also can post bread & butter pickles in a jar recipe before summer? if you have the time its just the way you do step by step directions makes it so easy for me to cook. you are AWESOME NATASHAS KITCHEN.
Hi Lilly, I’m not sure if that will happen before summer because I’ve never actually made them befor. I like bread-and-butter pickles but I don’t think my husband is a big fan of them. I will definitely keep that in mind if I come across a great recipe, I will definitely share. 🙂

Lyuda, I don’t have any Hawaiian bread, but it sounds like a good idea :). Sorry, I can’t be more helpful.
Hello Natasha!
I absolutely love all your recipes. They are very delicious! I was wondering if you can make a recipe for cake called Zebra. Thanks in advance! (:
I will add it to my to-do list :). Thanks so much for the tip! 🙂
Hey Miss Natasha!!
Okay, I have to start off by saying your blog has saved my life, and you are a gift from the culinary/baking gods. XD My question is, do you also have a recipe to make regular frosting-the sort that isn’t whipped cream or cream cheese? I’m a novice baker and my state’s law prohibits selling baked goods with dairy type frosting. Thank you so much!
I believe all of my frostings have some kind of dairy base. Are you thinking about fondant? I don’t have a recipe for fondant yet.
No ma’am, not fondant. Perhaps buttercream sans dairy?
Carlie, I don’t have a buttercream posted yet, but thats the recipe I need to share in the future :).
Hi Natasha,
I truly enjoy browsing your blog and recipes. Everything I tried is so delicious and easy to make. I was wondering if by any chance you have sprits cookies recipe. My mom used to make these cookies a lot and we always enjoyed it. She has Alzheimer’s now and she never wrote down her recipe . I’m trying so hard to recreate all of her cooking and baking so that my young kids will remember what grandma used to be like( she’s only 65 yrs). Thanks!
I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom :(. That is an incredibly difficult thing to watch and experience with a loved one. I wish I did have a sprits cookies recipe, but I don’t yet. If I come up with something amazing, I’ll be sure to share it! 🙂
Thank you for being so kind. May God bless you and your loved ones.
Hi! Im looking for a cookie recipe you had last year it was a creamcheese icing sugar style cookie filled with a sweet poppyseed walnut mix i feel like it was called kalettki???i would love to have the recipe it was spiraled as well i believe
I haven’t removed any recipes… Hmm… could this be the one you’re referring to? https://natashaskitchen.com/2012/12/24/russian-cake-truffles-recipe/
Hi Natasha, my wedding is in 2 weeks and my Fiancé is wanting a Strawberry cake for the wedding, do you have and suggestions?
You might try this strawberry layer cake; it is loaded with strawberries but it might need a firmer frosting if it is to be a wedding cake. 🙂 https://natashaskitchen.com/2013/01/15/strawberry-layer-cake-recipe/. You might also consider the kiwi berry cake if you want to really wow and excite your guests 🙂 https://natashaskitchen.com/2013/06/30/kiwi-berry-cake/
Hi, Natasha! I just want to say that I love your website and all the great recipes you post! Do you have a good chocolate chip muffin recipe? And, per my husband’s request, a pork fried rice recipe? 🙂 Thanks in advance!
I don’t have a good chocolate chip muffin yet, but I do have a SHRIMP fried rice that is just wonderful and if you don’t like shrimp, try subbing the shrimp for diced ham or try the pineapple fried rice.
Yes i have tried that cake. It is very soft and super tasty!!! Love it. I actually shared the recipe with my realtor and she loved it also.
Hey Natasha, I absolutely love your website and your recipes are perfect! But I was wondering if you can make a Ferrero Rocher cake? Ive found some on other websites but they didnt interest me.
Are you looking for a special kind? Do you have something in mind that you could describe, or what was it about the others you did not like? I have been thinking about it, but will need to start some tests. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey Natalya. I love your website. Always use it and recommend to others. There’s an amazing Ferrero Rocher cake on momsdish.com website. Love that website as well and always use it. Thanks girls!!!
Hi Raya! I’m very familiar with mom’s dish. Actually, we are friends and I’ve had breakfast at her house on a recent visit to WA :). Have you tried that cake?
Can you make macaroons on the blog! Preferably with a Nutella Gnache 🙂 love ALL your recipes I’ve tried so far.
Thank you! 🙂 You’re the second person in the last two days to mention macaroons. 😉 I’ll add it to my list. I don’t make them often since my son doesn’t eat nuts, but I’ll definitely share if I come up with something brilliant 🙂
Hi, do u have Gorishku recipe? I try two different recipe and they was so hard even when I put filing. Thanks
I don’t have one posted yet. We don’t make them very often but I’ll put it on the list 🙂
Natasha,
I used this recipe to make these cookies some time ago but the other day I added my own twist to it. I baked the cookies as instructed. Then, I used my mom’s pomadka recipe to make the glaze for them (3 tbs milk, 1/2 stick butter, 2 tbs cocoa powder, 1/2 cup sugar) and then put some cut up roasted hazelnuts on top (because I’m obsessed with nuts). Turned out to be pretty good. I was going to add a picture but I don’t think I can.
Anyway, thanks for the recipe!
Taisa which cookies were they?
heh, sorry, thought I posted them under the Zirochki recipe, not the desserts. Oh, silly me
Do you by any chance have the recipe to Bird’s Milk cake from Karina’s bakery in Glendale?
I haven’t tried that cake, sorry. I’ve actually never been to that bakery. Could you describe the cake?
You dont really have many cookies on here…
May i suggest the most magical cookies? Tertiy pirog…
Combine: 1 egg, 1 stick butter (1/2 cup), 1/2 c sugar, 1/2 tsp each vinegar and baking soda (mixed together) and two cups of flour.
Freeze 1/3 for two hours (or for weeka for make ahead, can freeze all of it)
Roll out the remaining 2/3 dough on jelly roll pan. Spread your favorite jam or preserves. Use a large grater and grate the frozen doigh portion all over the jam. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. When cooled, cut into square cookies. This is my most requested recipe. And the easiest thing. Great for unexpcted guests if you have it in the freezer! Try it!!!!!
Awesome!! Thanks so much for sharing! If this works out for me, would you be ok with me sharing it on my blog?
Of course!!! Say an annonomous guest suggested it 🙂
🙂 Thanks so much anonymous guest 😉
DO you by any chance have the reciepe or make the cake i believe its called “lady fingers”?
I haven’t tried making them but supposedly the recipe for lady fingers is the same recipe that is used to make biskvit, it is just piped into “fingers” and baked/ dried out. It would be a great experiment. Thanks for the tip! 🙂
