I cooked your beef and vegetable stir fry and my could not stop eating it :)))
Thank you so much for your ideas!
Nina, thank you for such a great review and you are welcome :).
Hi I wanted to ask I made the Chebureki it was delicious by the way, but seemed like the meat was still half raw. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.
If the outside is browning too fast, you probably want to keep the heat lower to give the inside some time to cook. Also, make sure your filling isn’t too thick to ensure it cooks through. 🙂
Me and my mom made your creamy shrimp alfredo pasta it was really delicious. We were surprised how good it turned out and how easy it was to make. Can’t wait to try more of your recipes! 🙂
I’m so happy you both enjoyed it! Thanks Liliya 🙂
Do you have recipes for Orthodox lenten season or Pascha? not Hrutka 😉
Are you looking for something like this? 🙂
I shared a dish that was called pascha after attending a Russian Orthodox Paschal liturgy. It was made with some sort of white cheese and was delicious. I would like a recipe to be able to make it for my family.
Hi Elizabeth, the only thing I have is Paska and it doesn’t have any cheese in it. Sorry I can’t be more help!
So happy to see Ukrainian recipes!! Just like my babcia or mama make them. Thank you 🙂
I hope these recipes remind you of the ones your Babcia or Mama made :). Welcome to the blog! 😉
I love having dinner parties but not so much fun with putting together a menu. Do you have any suggestions for complimentary side dishes/salads for main dishes. I have recipes for both but I don’t know what goes together well. Thank you. I love love your blog!!!
What kind of main dish are you thinking about making?
What I meant to say was food pairing. For example if I were to make your Chicken and Mushroom Casserole as a main dish for my dinner, what side or salads would go good with this dish?
Maybe when you post new recipes you could add a suggested side (with a link) to go along with your dish.
I believe that would be very helpful for those using your blog recipes to put together a menu. Thank you again!
That particular casserole pairs really well with any kind of green salad or coleslaw type of cabbage salads. It also pairs well with green beans. 🙂 I really like your suggestion for pairing foods. I’ll be thinking about how to incorporate that. Thank you Alesya 🙂
We just had your beef and vegetable stir fry… It was delicious!
Mmmmm you’re making me hungry! I’m so glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Any curry recipes?
No, not yet. We haven’t had much experience with curry since it’s so different from anything in Russian/Ukrainian cooking, but it’s something I will definitely consider for the future.
i really like your recipe. thanks
do you have a baked fish in tomato sauce recipe?
No, but it’s on my to-do list. I know exactly what you’re talking about 🙂
Awesome, cant wait!
