Today I’m sharing something near and dear to me; a video tour of my parents’ stunning garden. I’ve shown you glimmers of it on Snapchat (@natashaskitchen) and Instagram but here is the grand garden tour.
We’ve been living with my parents for a couple of months now (while house hunting after selling our home), and we have been able to document my parents setting up their garden, witness what the upkeep entails, and film everything that grows there. My parents are master gardeners. They are amazing at what they do and I hope this video brings you beautiful inspiration.

This video was quite a project for my husband, Vadim, who filmed it over the course of several days. He got up early to capture the garden’s morning glow to avoid harsh sunlight and put it together beautifully. This is a video we will personally look back on and treasure. I hope you enjoy my parents’ vegetable garden video.
Thank you so much for watching!
The grandkids are always rummaging through the garden and finding sweet treasures. My son loves the strawberries while my baby girl is most drawn to the black current bushes :).
Haha and so am I! 😉
Here’s my very favorite spot in the garden – the space between the fruit trees and the grape vines. It’s even more surreal in the video because you feel like you’re right there!
Q: Do you keep a garden? Let me know what you love to plant in a comment below!
Beautiful garden but I wouldn’t be able to handle such a village life
It definitely takes a lot of work and someone with a heart for it. 🙂
Natasha, first of all just wanted to say that your hair looks gorgeous 🙂 The garden looks magnificent!!
Galya, you’re so nice 🙂 Thank you!
WOW!!! What a blessed family <3
Thank you so much Yelena. I am truly thankful for my parents and family. 🙂
Oh my gosh, this video was amazing!! I loved watching their garden from start to “finish”. You all did a great job!
Jessica, thank you so much. You’re so nice :). I seriously have the nicest readers 🙂
Looks so amazing!!!!!! Truly inspiring! Sorry don’t want to be rude to ask but are you expecting?;)
Oh no!!! 🙁 That is a dangerous question… No I’m not.
You NEVER ask a lady if she’s expecting unless it’s obvious she’s on month 9 and about to deliver. Natasha, youre in amazing shape after 2 babies, don’t pay any attention 😃
Thank you for the compliment Larisa :).
Yes, I absolutely agree! Natasha, you are beautiful!
Amaizing, amazing 😀😀
Thank you Vera! 🙂
Truly amazing! Both garden and video! Your parents should do gardening blog. We have small garden and have more questions than we have veggies in our garden.
Thank you so much Marianna! I think their garden, and work and grandkids keep them too busy to blog 😉
Wow! I was absolutely blown away by this video. Your parents’ garden is stunning and HUGE. What a variety of fruits and vegetables. My dream is to someday have a garden like this. You can see how much hard work, dedication and love your parents pour into it. I loved the video work and editing too.
Aww Olga thank you so much for the awesome compliments. They sure do put so much love and work into their amazing garden 🙂
Wow!!! This is amazing!!! How big is this garden? It looks like a farm not a garden))). Wow! Do they have any farm animals?
Their garden space spans a little more than 1/3 acre I believe and maybe more with all the fruit trees everywhere. They live on 1.3 acres but that also consists of a house, shop, pool and open/landscaped spaces. Oh they do have chickens which the children love to feed and be around 🙂
Absolutely dreamy garden!! You’re so blessed you get to experience it first hand 🙂 Your parents are so awesome!
I have to agree :). They really area amazing people and I am truly thankful for them 🙂
What a beautiful video and amazing gigantic garden! Your parents are like my parents, they do gardening as a hobby together (in WA state) and I was inspired by their example to start my own garden when I got married and started a family. Although this year with two kids under 2 (1,3 mo old and 2 mo old) it isnt easy (sometimes i get in the greenhouse once a week 😏 ) but my husband and i enjoy it ! We have a small greenhouse and grow tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, lettuce, green onion and lots of dill. Once the kids get a little older we want to expand and plant more things but right now we’ve got our hands full. ☺
That is awesome that you and your parents garden. Yeah that would be really difficult with 2 kids under 2!! You’re amazing to be able to keep a greenhouse also! Way to go!
I noticed we have a few things in common! I have two kids: Avrelia born on march 25th 2015 just a few weeks after Diana, and a boy named David born april 7th 2016. I am also a nurse (graduated in 2012 in wa state) but currently a stay at home mom. We also both love to cook! 🙂 thank you for this website, i sure enjoy coming back here often for inspiration!
Wow that’s awesome that our kids have the same names and we’re both nurses!! 🙂 I’m so glad you enjoy my blog 🙂
They have beautiful garden!!!! It’s Amazing!
Thank you Katie! 🙂
Wow omg beautiful garden Natasha and beautiful family kids are getting so very big and your parents are really very special people they do so much the garden brings back a lot of memories for me my aunt Carol Ann loves to garden when we would visit her either when she and my uncle lived in north Carolina or upstate New York we used eat fresh fruits and veggies from her garden and bring home an abundance certainly saves tons of money from going to the supermarket to buy produce btw love the new hair color on you looks very summeryish
Oh Thank you Tzivia! I only cut it for summer. My husband applied a filter to the photos and it does look more red – I hadn’t even noticed it! 😉
Oh really wow cool well summer is officially here again luv gr8 job on the garden vlog maybe try 2 do a cooking vlog with the fam that would be cool pick some fruits and veggies then be like here’s what we r gonna do today since ur such a natural and so are other family members
Thanks for the great idea! I love the idea of a vlog. I do a little of that on snapchat and really enjoy it 🙂
Wow! What a wonderful, dreamy garden! But they must put so many hours and work into it!! Definitely something to aspire to…one day 🙂
Yes, definitely countless hours, but they enjoy it 🙂 It’s something for me to aspire to one day as well but for now, we are so thankful to be able to enjoy their garden 🙂
What a gorgeous garden!! And those trees ahhh 🙂 Great video. We don’t have a garden, but luckily we know many people who do. I can’t get enough fresh lettuce. Hope you’re having a wonderful summer!
Thank you Natasha, I hope you are having a great summer as well 😀.
Their garden looks amazing!!!!!!!!!! My parents have a garden tooo, love fresh vegetable right from your garden. I wanted to ask you where did your dad buy the walnut trees??? and also gooseberry bushes????
I believe the walnut trees are from a local nursery but they have been able to grow several of their own successfully using branches from their tree. The gooseberry bushes were also from the local nursery.
Wow! Great video and wonderful garden!
Thank you Inna 😀.
What an incredible and impressive garden! I dream of developing my green thumb one day. Right now, it seems everything I touch dies 🙁 Thank you so much for sharing!
You are welcome Patty and don’t give up 😁.
Beautiful garden! And a beautiful family:) I love your blog! I visit your website almost everyday,
Keep doing what you do👍
Thank you for such a sweet comment, I’m glad you liked it 😀.
What can I say: wow & amazing…
It is a huge garden. Our garden is nothing comparing to your parents garden.
I see your parents planted potatoes. Send it to me some, please… lol. We planted potatoes, but they aren’t growing as it should be. From our experience, potatoes that we’re buying are hybrid. As a result, we need to find not hybrid potatoes. By the way, maybe your parents will suggest what brand of potato to buy and where?
I will definitely show this video to my parents in law. They will love it…
Hi :). Thank you so much! I believe they buy potatoes from a farmer and the ones they like, they let them sprout and just plant those.
