Vadim and I were invited to a preview for Kneaders Bakery and Cafe. It’s a new restaurant that also sells a variety of baked goods. It’s located off Ustick and Eagle Rd (near Lowes) in Meridian, ID.
I really liked the sandwiches. They make their bread and turkey fresh daily and it’s just plain good. Very fresh and satisfying. It’s the ideal place for those who are tired of Subway but don’t have time to go to a true sit-down restaurant.
The service was super quick and you do get to relax and enjoy your food in a well-designed dining area. It’s casual enough for a quick lunch during work and nice enough for a date. I really enjoyed it and plan to visit again. Here’s a look inside…
I had me a slice of cheesecake. I can never resist a cheesecake!
These caramel apples are on my list for next time 🙂 Yummy
Our son enjoyed licking one of these with his kids meal:

Half of my yummy sandwich (turkey on focaccia with avocado):
Don’t I look happy about my sandwich?
Mmmm… sandwich 🙂
Vadim had the same sandwich plus a slice of carrot cake. And those chips are their parmesan house chips.
Pretty much all the decor was for sale, so if you liked something, you could literally take it home with you.
A place to buy nice bread for dinner parties… Perfect!!
I love discovering new places like this!!
where is it?? i would loove to go check it out!
Ustick and Eagle Rd (on the same corner as Lowes) in Meridian.
Great Blog on Kneaders I just love that turkey avocado on focaccia!!!
Inna – I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I have to convince Vadim to take me there on a mini date one of these days 🙂 It is a cute place to sit and chat.
Ciao Bella. As per your recommendation Tanya, Zhanna, and I checked out Kneaders on Saturday. Loved it!!!
Hi Natasha. Do you by any chance have a recipe for pork kabobs?
My cousin just sent me one but I’m not sure when I will have time to post it :-/ ??
Looks like a really great place! They don’t have enough places like this in Boston… at least not around my house/work.
