This party punch is so pretty and refreshing. It is perfect for baby showers, church potlucks, Valentines day parties and family get-togethers.
It’s a showy punch and your guests will be intrigued by the fizz, colorful floating fruit and sherbet of course. My sister Sveta frequently brings her version of this sherbet punch to parties and it’s always a hit.
You can easily cut the entire recipe in half for a smaller crowd. It is simple to assemble and you can pre-scoop and freeze your ice cream balls in advance – remember that Instagram post I shared? This is what the ice cream was for! 🙂
Raspberry Party Punch Ingredients:
2 Liter Bottle Sierra Mist, Sprite or 7-up, chilled
2 Liter Bottle Club Soda, chilled
1 Fruit punch can (12oz), or pink lemonade, thawed in the fridge (*see note)
1 Pineapple juice can (12oz), thawed in the fridge (*see note)
6-8 scoops Raspberry Sherbet Ice cream, or any flavor you have available
*note: if you can’t find fruit punch or pineapple juice, then 2 cans pink lemonade will work well also.
For Garnish (optional, but so pretty!):
Fresh or frozen raspberries for garnish
Pineapple slices for garnish (canned or fresh)
How to Make Raspberry Sorbet Party Punch:
1. Pre-scoop ice cream and place on a baking dish lined with plastic wrap. Freeze and add ice cream just before serving so it remains frozen in the punch.
2. In a punch bowl, combine: 2 juice cans. Pour in Sierra Mist and Club Soda and gently stir until combined.
3. Add pineapple slices and raspberries if using and top with scooped sherbert just before serving. The ice cream will keep it chilled. Add cold water or ice if desired to control how sweet your punch is.
Note: once the ice cream melts, the punch will be sweeter.
Credits: This punch is based on my sister Sveta’s sherbet punch. Inspiration for adding pineapple & pineapple juice from the Chic Site. Thank you ladies for sharing! 🙂

* Our favorite scooper is this 2-inch Disher from Hamilton Beach

I love this recipe! I made it for the first time this weekend at my daughters sprinkle. I got Raspberry Vodka that Stefanie Berger recommended and kept it on the side for adults. I also made an ice mold with ginger ale and some raspberries which helped to keep it really cold for a long time. I used ginger ale because I didn’t have any of the other sodas left but it turned out beautifully!!! Also used canned crushed pineapple instead of the rings.
Thank you for such a nice review, I’m so happy to hear that 😀.
Do you use the water that is called for , to the frozen juice.
Lucille, I don’t add the water.
Hi! This recipe sounds great! I was at the grocery store last night looking for the ingredients. They did not have any frozen canned fruit punch or pineapple juice. Would it be OK to use the regular 64 oz non-frozen/non-concentrated containers of fruit punch and pineapple juice? If so, how much? If no, then would it be better to use the 2 cans of frozen pink lemonade instead? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
Hi Hill, you could use 2 frozen pink lemonade cans or 1 lemonade and another frozen juice flavor variety. Using the non-conentrated juice would water down your punch since the proportion of fizzy liquid with regular juice would be altered. Enjoy!
Just wondering if the fruit juices were those frozen concentrated fruit juices?
Hi Jasmine, yes they were frozen and I thawed them in the refrigerator.
What size are the pineapple and fruit punch?
Judy, fruit punch in the can is 12oz and a medium pineapple. Hope this helps 😀
My pink lemonade is a 12oz. Concentrated frozen can and I have a large can of pineapple juice. Can I just use 12ozes. Of my pineapple juice?
Judy that should work just fine 😀
Would a beverage dispenser work instead of a punch bowl?
Hi Shalei, yes that would work, you just wouldn’t be able to get the pretty fruit and ice cream into the glasses but it definitely would still work 🙂
I forgot to mention my dispenser is a 3 gallon so would i double the recipe or triple it?
I would double it 🙂
absolutely love this punch. quick and easy too. I kept it alcohol free for kids, I just added raspberry vodka to individual glasses for adults. this will be at all my summer gatherings🍸
I’m so glad you liked it and I do think it’s perfect for summer parties!
Thank you for that tip,Stefanie, I did that at my daughters sprinkle this weekend, it worked out great!!!
Hi there!! This looks absolutely delicious and it’s so pretty I am going to make it for my daughters birthday party in a couple weeks:)!! Just wondering if I should be making it with actual sherbet or icecream? Which do you prefer ? Thanks so much!
I purchase a tub of sherbet ice cream like the one pictured. I hope you love it!
Wonderful recipe! Any tips on how to make an “adult version”?
I’ve never tried making it into an adult version. I’m not sure any kind of alcohol would mix well with the ice cream. I just haven’t tried it. Sorry I’m not very helpful with your question.
I’m going to add raspberry vodka for an adult version.
Champagne 🍾
How was it with the champagne?
looks amazing cant wait to make it
Thanks Mary! I hope you love it 🙂
This looks great! I can’t wait to make it for my daughter’s first birthday party this Saturday. Should be a hit with both the kids and adults!
Happy birthday to your daughter!! 🙂 I hope you all love the punch!
Looks awesome! I’m going to make this for a girls baby shower this weekend. Excited to see how it turns out. I’ve done blue punch a number of times, but this is my first opportunity to make a pink one for a friend 🙂
What kind of blue punch? I’m so curious now! I’ve never made blue before 🙂
My family’s variation is ginger ale + Ocean spray cranberry-raspberry juice + vanilla ice cream. Sounds similar, but I love how colorful yours is, definitely going to try it sometime.
Thanks for sharing your version Elizabeth, I’m always up for trying new recipes :).
What a fun and colorful party drink! I love that you added some fresh fruits as well. Perfectly sweet for Valentine’s Day!
This a great choice for Valentine’s Day and additional fruit just gives a little extra something something :D.
Hey Natasha,
Beautiful pictures and great recipe! On a different note, I bought the swissmar borner mandoline based on your recommendation and I LOVE, LOVE it! Thank you so much for such great info and ideas! Sending you great thoughts and good wishes for an easy peasy delivery!
I’m so happy to hear you liked it! We love it too. Next, you should consider the no cry gloves. We recently discovered them and they make the slicing so much safer (My hubby hurt his finger on a slicer recently and that’s why we were looking into it). It’s so nice for the mandoline, julienne slicer and grater. My son puts them on too when he insists on helping with the grater. 🙂 I’m doing a giveaway for them in this months email newsletter: https://madmimi.com/p/01aed5?fe=1&pact=28157682881
We got a pair of the gloves last year. They are definitely finger savers. I can’t do without them now. Printed out the fruit punch recipe. Can’t wait until next party to do this.
Wow this looks good :)) thanks for sharing :)) now we can enjoy delicious drinks even in winter :))) this is wonderful !!:))
You’re so welcome 🙂
Fruit punch and juice and the combination with ice cream ?
You got it! 😉
I must say I am a huge fan of party punches. This one is so colorful I can’t wait to try it!
Thank you so much Shelby. We are too! 🙂 I love to change things up and keep our punch interesting.
This sounds so good right now even though it’s still cold out. Beautiful pictures too! 🙂
