The Bump

Here’s an update on the baby bump. I am now almost 22 weeks and baby is the size of a banana (1 lb!). I’m past the half way point and my bump feels more like a barrel, especially after last nights enchilada :-O. Yesterday we found out the gender of our little one. Read on if you’re curious :)… (aren’t I cruel to make you wait? Ah ha ha ha ha – that’s my best cruel cackle).

My hubs snapped these pictures of me in the backyard last week . I’m starting to gain weight fast. Maybe it’s all the ice cream, pudding, chocolate truffles, and candy? Nah!! What a ridiculous thought – the baby needs those! I take comfort in that I buy 1/2 fat ice cream so I can eat twice as much without feeling guilty. Smart, eh?

    Pregnancy

Now on to the big gender reveal. It’s a… well, I’ll make you guess. A ha hah ha ha (oh goodness, not more cackles?!, sorry).

    Here’s a sweet little profile.

    Pregnancy

And sweet little feet. I just want to kiss those toes (minus the amniotic fluid of course).

    Pregnancy

And since I didn’t give you much to go off of. I’m just-a-gonna tell you. Fine. Fine. It’s a GIRL! So many of you guessed it would be a girl!

Now we need to come up with a classic name for our little lady. Decisions, decisions. I mentioned a name to my son and he replied with “No!” I asked him what he wanted to call the baby and he said, “Mario.” I then explained that we can’t call her Mario since she’s a girl and he says, “ok, Princess Mario.” Oh brother.

    Pregnancy-3

I hope you are having an awesome week! P.S. Thank you for showering me with sweet compliments and love on Instagram and Facebook where I’ve been sharing more of my prego pictures. You all are such a blessing to me :).

Olga, thank you so much :). We were so elated when we found out it was a girl, but we would have been equally as elated with a boy. It’s just all around wonderful 🙂 I imagine our children will be pals somehow, someway.

Aww.. Natasha the pic of your baby’s feet is so darn cute!!! I wish u could see the huge idiotic smile on my face right now! 😀 During my Radiology rotation in med school, after these scans we were given the task of taking stills of the screen for the mothers. And it never occurred to me to focus the probe on feet and click that! Im having a mini-regret attack. Lol :p
Anyway, congratulations! I’m in awe of you to see u handle pregnancy, home, a job and a 5 year old..and still managing to find time to update ur blog ! God bless you and your family. Love 🙂

Aren’t they sweet? I don’t think I got that view with my son. 🙂 I actually just blog full time and stopped working part time as a nurse; I got to a point where I just couldn’t do both. The blog took over and it’s been a very exciting ride for the past few months 🙂

Congrats Natasha:) im really happy for your family. I have 2 girls and they are 1 year and 2 months apart. Alina is 2 years old and 9 months and Emily is 1 year and 7 months. Its not easy when they are that close but it’s soooo much joy and fun. Im so used to girls but I would get used to a boy too. We want to soon start trying for baby #3 so well see on the gender. My both girls were preemies but they had no problems thanks to God.

Wow you sure have your hands full having them 1 year and 2 months apart! Way to go mama! 🙂 That is quite an accomplishment. I always thought I wanted my kids to be close in age, but it didn’t work out that way. Good thing my son has lots of cousins nearby 🙂
