Jalapeño Ranch is perfect as a dressing, dip or sauce. It has a thick sour cream base, and is lightened up with fresh cilantro and lime juice and a hint of spice. This stuff is highly addictive!

If you’re looking for something milder, I highly recommend our Avocado Ranch which is loved by kids and adults. Jalapeño ranch has a kick to it and is perfect as a dip for Potato Wedges, drizzled over Shrimp Fajitas, or your favorite salad.

Greeting. Can I use plain yogurt rather than sour cream?

I was wondering if you can add a ranch packet to this to enhance the flavors to this recipe? Maybe this would help with Melody’s situation ?

I make this all the time and it’s always a hit! Recently my dressing comes out too thin. I added more sour cream in hopes of thickening it up but it didn’t help. Any thoughts to thicken? I use my nutribullet – perhaps I need a different blender for this recipe?

Hi Melody! Besides the lime juice, there really isn’t anything else to thin out the dressing so there’s not much you can adjust that will make a difference. Are you using a full fat sour cream? Light sour cream is thinner and more watery. You could also research online how to use xanthan gum to thicken your dressing. I hope the helps.

Just mix the ingredients in bullet but leave out 75% of the sour cream! Blend then fold the mixture into the fresh sour crem.
