    • Natasha
      natashaskitchen
      January 1, 2014

It’s best to assemble just before serving. You can prep everything a day ahead, keep the pavlovas at room temp covered with plastic wrap once they are cooled down and refrigerate cream. They are really easy to assemble and that way the cream won’t soften your pavlovas at all. 🙂 Reply

Yea it’s delicious. Pretty much a play on the cake truffles you have on here, but it’s crumbled biskvit mixed with a bit of whipped heavy cream, chopped walnuts, simple syrup with a splash (or 2 or 3!) or cognac, shaped into mini ”potatoes” rolled in cocoa powder and topped with simple butter cream frosting dots. Guess I’ll have to stick with the family recipe this weekend! Well thank you anyways 🙂 Reply

I got the recipe for these cookies from my moms cousin. She bakes them for weddings. I would really recommend them to you. I used to make them a lot before we got sick of them. Reading this post makes me crave them again:) They really taste amazing. Soft and not too sweet. Perfect with tea. Reply
