The combination of club soda, cherry syrup and ice creates some incredible fizz in this sparkling cherry lemonade. Seriously, don’t take your eye off it when you’re adding the club sodie pop. Consider yourself warned.
This sparkling cherry lemonade is so delightful and thirst quenching. It’s perfect on a hot day and makes an impressive party drink. You can make the syrup ahead of time and keep it in the fridge up to a week!
This is how we used up the rest of the cherries sent to us from NW Cherry Growers and OXO as part of the 10lb cherry challenge. We went wild and made 2 recipes; the first was this Drunken Cherry Cake. Of course there are ~7 lbs that went unaccounted for. We ate them. They were so tasty and I’m not sorry.
Thank you so much to all who entered the giveaway and for sharing it with your friends and families! (Giveaway is now closed)

Simple Ingredients for Easy Cherry Lemonade:
Everything you need to make a refreshing and thirst-quenching summer party cherry lemonade!
How to Make the Best Cherry Lemonade Syrup:
1. Weight out 1 lb of cherries. P.S. This is the OXO Food Scale. If you don’t already have one, I highly recommend it. If you do already have one, give it to your sister and get this one.
Rinse, drain and pit your cherries. These OXO strainers and bowls were handy; great for rinsing and storing cherries. I really really liked this set of bowls/colanders and they nest and store away really well.
The OXO cherry pitter makes it easy and little hands love to use it too. (P.S. We’re giving a couple of these OXO pitters away; see details below!). These two kiddos sure got a kick out of the OXO pitters.
If your children are using these, make sure they are wearing an apron or their ugly clothes. Despite the brilliant splash guard on the pitters, my son ended up with cherry juice everywhere. He’s 4. He’s a boy. Need I say more
2. In a blender, combine 3 cups pitted cherries, 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (you might extract more if you really get angry with your lemons) and 1 cup sugar. If you’re cutting down on sugar in your life, feel free to use 3/4 cup sugar. Blend until smooth. You don’t want pieces of cherry to get stuck in your straw
Creating Sparkling Cherry Lemonade:
1. Fill a glass half way with ice. Pour 2-3 Tbsp of your cherry syrup over your ice and add club soda to taste. I used roughly 1/4 cup syrup to 3/4 cup club soda. You can do it to taste.
Top with a fresh cherry (or 5) and serve. You’re gonna love the fizzle. My sisters both said this was restaurant quality except WAY cheaper!

Enjoy this refreshing and crisp sparkling cherry lemonade! So yum!
I pinned it.
I have so much ideas of what i would do with cherries, cooking, baking, anything. My family has many recipes for cherries. I would also try to make new recipes. But mostly my family would eat them because we LOVE cherries. We have three cherry trees, but they did not produce cherries this year. So 10lbs of cherries would be amazing.
I would make bulochki, and vareniki.
I would make your drunken cherry cake. Then I would most likely eat the rest of them raw.
If I had 10lb of cherries I would eat them all raw
I would make a lot of perogies with such immense amount of cherries!

I love making fun summery drinks and would probably make some with the cherries, but to be honest, a lot of cherries would be eaten!!
With 10 lbs of cherries, I would browse through natasaskitchen recipes and make things with cherries in them 🙂 So far the drunken cherry cake caught my eye and this drink sure looks refreshing!

We are about to resume our once a month “Empty Nesters” potluck dinners at my church in September and I will be taking a few of your creations for them to try. Don’t worry the card in front of them will read recipe from “Natasha’s Kitchen.com
Also many thanks to you for your “Resource” section, it is helping me in my website development.
Well it’s 11:35am here in Arizona and I’m about to fire roast some “Hatch Green Chiles” on the grill for some Green Chile Chicken tonight.
Looked at the temp gage on the grill out back, and it is just below the “Ideal” setting. I haven’t started the fire in it yet! LOL that how hot it is in Arizona.
I would dehydrate, freeze, and make a rich cheesecake topping (also Canned) , then I would have to try your drunken cherry cake that you have already posted. That was just gorgeous.
