My husband and son (and I) loved this!! It wasn’t too heavy, but just right and so easy! I’ll be making this again!
Awesome!! I’m so glad to hear that! 🙂
Even with the soy sauce I felt it was a very bland
Hi Ang, this is supposed to be a lighter and healthier stir fry – you can increase the sauce if you prefer a saucier stir fry. Also, if you are using low sodium chicken broth or soy sauce, be sure to season to taste with salt or it will be bland.
Will this still be good leftover? Looking to make it and have it throughout the week but not sure how the noodles will hold up!
Hi Kathryn, this will hold up well as leftovers but I do think it is best fresh 🙂
Tried this one evening (only thing I left out was the ketchup) and even the 2 year old ate it with no fight what-so-ever (4 little kids in my family). Loved it. we had it with wheat noodles as well as rice. Thank YOU!!
You’re welcome De! I’m happy to hear the whole family enjoys this recipe! Thanks for sharing your fantastic review!
where is the seasoning? i haven’t even made this and it sounds bland and tasteless. You didn’t even add salt or pepper, and that’s the bare minimum!
Hi Ko, it is one of our most popular recipe posts because it does have great flavor. It isn’t overly salty and you can add salt and pepper to taste if you like saltier foods but the sauce adds plenty of flavor to the dish. The soy sauce, ketchup and broth all have enough salt to balance the dish.
Just made it, everything but the chicken taste good. There isn’t enough seasoning for the chicken. Frying it directly without marinating it was a bad choice.
Hi V M, you can pre-marinate this if you prefer, or just season lightly with salt and pepper.
That was amazing test so good thanks😊
You’re welcome Ana! I’m glad you love it! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I just made this, I’m 23 and have had a recent interest in trying to cook and this was incredibly tasty!
This is going to be my go to recipe for stir fry from now on. The sauce is very tasty!
Thank you Natasha.
You’re welcome! I’m glad to hear how much you enjoy this recipe! Thanks for following and sharing your great review!
They dish is yummy, but I would recommend adding some additional seasoning and cooking the noodles longer! My noodles were still fairly crunchy by the time I was done.
Hi Sarah, maybe you used a different kind of noodle? Rice noodles cook super fast and become mushy quickly if overcooked.
Really yummy! I just don’t enjoy rice noodles but couscous is a great substitute!
What a great suggestion Keren! Thanks for sharing your review with other readers!
Can you use shrimp instead?
Hi Donna, I think that would work well with shrimp.
What if you bought the thinner rice noodles? Could that work with this as well?
Hi Destiny, I think that should still work wit the thinner ones.
What could you put in other than broccoli? Not a fan of broccoli. Thanks!
Hi Angie, you could use bell pepper or snap peas instead or even asparagus 🙂
Zucchini or shredddd carrots or green beans
So good! Even my extremely picky husband had seconds. Thank you 😀
My pleasure Carly! I’m glad to hear how much you both enjoy the recipe! Thanks for sharing your great review!
Made this the other night, love how easy it was to make and also it was pretty healthy.
For my taste, it was a bit bland, adding garlic and seasoning would definitely make it tastier, I feel like the sauce wasn’t enough if you like it to be more flavorful. Also, I don’t recommend using all the pasta because it was a bit dry, so either don’t use all the pasta or make more sauce. Overall, I would make this recipe again.
I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Everything you said I agree with. It was a bit dry and I would add more seasoning.
I think soy sauce may contain gluten?
Hi Sandy, you can get gluten free soy sauce – look for the Tamari brand. It does have to say gluten free on the bottle to be gluten free.
Delicious ,perfect. Thanks
My pleasure! I’m happy to hear you love it! 🙂
I made this tonight and it was delicious! My wife and daughters loved it as well and want me to be sure to keep this recipe. I added slightly more broth and soy sauce as it seemed like it may have been getting a little too dry and added 7 or 8 green onions. Other than that, I followed the recipe to the letter. This recipe has it all… easy to prepare and delicious to eat!!
Hi Jerry, I am so glad you all loved the recipe! 🙂
This was delicious! Thanks for the recipe.
You’re welcome Marianne! I’m glad you love it!
Needed something different. My family loved it. Switched mushrooms for snow peas, (my girls won’t eat mushrooms. ) easy and fabulous!
