Merry Christmas to all of our readers and friends, whom we call the Natasha’s Kitchen Family! Because it would be logistically impossible to send each of you a card (with over 3 million people visiting our blog monthly!), consider this our Christmas card to you – the very same one we sent to relatives.
I’m also sharing a whole bunch of pictures from the recent Fall photo shoot with our photographer and friend, Alla of In A Dream Photography. She did an amazing job (scroll down the page and you’ll see exactly what I mean).
P.S. Drumroll please for the winners of our triple giveaway! …
And the winners of the triple giveaway are (last names abbreviated for privacy):
- Galina Bu…
- Tatyana Sh…
- Stacy Ro…
Congratulations and please check your emails 🙂
Here is the back of this year’s Christmas card:
Family Photos 2017
Ready for a photo overload? We’ve shared our annual family photos several years in a row and I sure love going back and seeing how our little ones have grown.
2016 Family Photos
2015 Family Photos
2015 Christmas Greeting
2013 Baby Photos (Our little ladies birth story – not relevant to this list, but she sure is a cute one!)
Our photographer did an amazing job as usual! You can’t tell by these photos but our little girl was not cooperating. She missed her nap that day and we had the hardest time getting her to stay put, but Alla captured so many beautiful and happy moments. Thank you Alla!
Thank you for being a part of the “family”. I’m so glad you are here! We are excited to see what God has planned for our lives next year. Thank you for joining us on this journey. It has been a joy to connect with you in comments here and on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat (@natashaskitchen and thanks for putting up with my crazy snaps). You all are so encouraging and a major blessing to our family.
Oh PS. In other exciting news, our house is coming along nicely. It’s snowing in Idaho (coming down heavy as I type, which means a white Christmas, which also means we’ll be spending part of Christmas day shoveling snow out of our future living room as the roof is not quite on yet. I’ll try to keep you posted with exciting progress reports on instagram stories and snapchat.
I hope you and your loved ones have a beautiful and memorable Christmas!! How do you spend Christmas Day? I’d love to hear all of the merry details!
Hi Natasha. I’m Ukrainian too. Am looking for a recipe (my Mom’s) that I lost. Its for a Beet salad (she called Vinohrad). Had many ingredients: beets, grapes, beans, cubed potatoes, carrots and was eaten cold like condiment or a salad. Would you have a recipe for it? I can still taste it in my memory. Love your blog and recipes!
Hi Irene, I believe this is the recipe you are talking about?
I’ve just been introduced to your website by my Ukrainian friend at work…I am Ukrainian also and what a wonderful website (and very beautiful family) you have. I can’t wait to try some of the old home cooking recipes my mom used to make.
Big Ukrainine Hug, Dorothy
I’m glad you found my site Dorothy! Thanks for following and please let me know what you think of the recipes!
Hi Natasha!
I feel absolutely overjoyed for you and your beautiful Family. It blesses me to hear your testimony of trusting God and him coming through. I know that he is faithful beyond our ability to comprehend that . Can you do a blog post on your relationship with God? If you are led to do so.

Very beautiful family photos. Did you guys pick a house plan from online or did you create your own house plan? So exciting.
Thank you so much Lena! We based it on a home that we walked through and really liked – our builder was able to contact the other builder and get a very rough draft. Then we customized it to fit our families needs. It’s basically a completely different custom house by the time we were done with those plans :). We are so very excited!! Even though it’s under construction, I drive there all the time and just like to walk through it and spend time there like a big nerd. 🙂
