This party punch is so pretty and refreshing. It is perfect for baby showers, church potlucks, Valentines day parties and family get-togethers.
It’s a showy punch and your guests will be intrigued by the fizz, colorful floating fruit and sherbet of course. My sister Sveta frequently brings her version of this sherbet punch to parties and it’s always a hit.
You can easily cut the entire recipe in half for a smaller crowd. It is simple to assemble and you can pre-scoop and freeze your ice cream balls in advance – remember that Instagram post I shared? This is what the ice cream was for! 🙂
Raspberry Party Punch Ingredients:
2 Liter Bottle Sierra Mist, Sprite or 7-up, chilled
2 Liter Bottle Club Soda, chilled
1 Fruit punch can (12oz), or pink lemonade, thawed in the fridge (*see note)
1 Pineapple juice can (12oz), thawed in the fridge (*see note)
6-8 scoops Raspberry Sherbet Ice cream, or any flavor you have available
*note: if you can’t find fruit punch or pineapple juice, then 2 cans pink lemonade will work well also.
For Garnish (optional, but so pretty!):
Fresh or frozen raspberries for garnish
Pineapple slices for garnish (canned or fresh)
How to Make Raspberry Sorbet Party Punch:
1. Pre-scoop ice cream and place on a baking dish lined with plastic wrap. Freeze and add ice cream just before serving so it remains frozen in the punch.
2. In a punch bowl, combine: 2 juice cans. Pour in Sierra Mist and Club Soda and gently stir until combined.
3. Add pineapple slices and raspberries if using and top with scooped sherbert just before serving. The ice cream will keep it chilled. Add cold water or ice if desired to control how sweet your punch is.
Note: once the ice cream melts, the punch will be sweeter.

Hi Natasha, I love all your recipes!! Can I sub sprite for ginger ale? Thanks
Hi Brittni, I think Sprite or ginger ale would work.
Thank you!! Also…I made the white chicken chili in the IP tonight….WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
You’re welcome! Isn’t that the best in an IP!!
my family loved it. made it for the family Christmas Eve party it was a blast for the kids. turned out amazing.
I’m so glad you all enjoyed it! Thank you for the wonderful review!
Thanks again Natasha, I made 4 batches of this tonight also added vodka and put the sherbet in the muffin pan just like you did. Turned out great! My family loved it.
I’m so glad you all enjoyed it!
I have to make this but cannot use
anything with high fructose corn sryup. Anyone have any suggestions what to use? Thank you!
Hi Theresa, there are some great options now in grocery stores usually located in the natural food sections. I can’t think of any specific brands off the top but you can find healthier substitutions without compromising too much on flavor.
Thank you!!
I loved the punch so much. Looking forward to more punch recipies.
I’m so happy you enjoyed that! This is one of our favorites!
Is the pineapple juice concentrated? I can’t find it anywhere. Can I use some juice from a big can?
Hi Debbie! Yes, we used frozen concentrated fruit juices. The recipe link includes a photo of all of our ingredients. I hope that helps!
I can’t find the frozen pineapple concentrate either. Did you get a reply?
I can’t find frozen pineapple concentrate. Can I use just pineapple juice in its place? Also not finding a fruit punch but I found a berry blend.I did find organge/pineapple concentrate. Not sure what is best!!
Hi Heidi, a pineapple concentrate will give you more pronounced flavor. The juice may still work but won’t have quite the same punch – no pun intended 🙂
Hi I’m going to make your punch this weekend. Do use fruit punch or the apple cherry juice?
I think I can find either. Just wondering what you think is the best one.
Hi Michelle. We use Fruit punch 🙂 I did leave a note in the recipe with alternatives. I hope that helps
Hi there I am looking to make this this however I cannot fondness the frozen candy of any that has s been real recommend. Any ideas as to what I can use now.
Hi Brandy, I’m not sure what you are asking? Are you referring to the frozen raspberries?
How much does this make? We are having a shower on Saturday for 30 people. Would one batch be enough or should I double it?
This recipe makes 18-20 cups 🙂 So doubling it may be a good idea since most go for seconds. Unless you plan on have other drinks there. I hope this helps
Can I make this ahead of time and freeze then add the ice-cream later
Hi Judy, I do scoop the ice cream and freeze so it is easier to add later. The only part I would also not mix in ahead of time is the soda so it does not lose it’s fizz 🙂
The punch turned out so yummy and pretty! It was perfect for a baby shower and everyone loved it. Had a difficult time finding solid sherbet flavors in California so used very berry sherbet.
I’m happy to hear how much everyone enjoys this festive punch! Thanks for sharing your wonderful review Sheryl!
If I am going to use only one 2-liter of club soda & one 2-liter of Sprite, would I only use half (6oz) of the concentrated juice cans or go ahead and use the whole thing ? Going to make this for an office valentines party.
Never-mind, I mis-read the recipe.
Thanks
Glad you figured it out! 🙂
I made this pink punch for my daughter’s 6th “Pinkalicious” (it’s a series of books) themed birthday party. I used two cans of frozen pink lemonade. It was pretty tart, so I added a red Solo cup of water to water it down, which helped. I couldn’t find frozen pineapple juice. We served the punch in tea cups and our party goers seemed to enjoy it.
I’m so glad you all enjoyed it. And what a fun party theme!
This looks so delish! Do you freeze the pineapple chunks also or just the raspberries? I’m thinking of making small scoops of the raspberry sherbet and putting them into a mini muffin tin so there are more of them to go around, anyone ever tried it that way? I don’t want it to be too sweet, do you think diet sprite or gingerale would be good? Thanks!
Hi Holly, you could do it either way but I do love your idea of freezing the pineapple. It would keep the punch cooler longer 🙂 I also like your idea of using the mini muffin tin and making smaller scoops. I think diet sprite or gingerale would work 🙂
I want to make this for a small group but I need to make it individually instead of a big punch bowl. Any suggestions as to how to do that?
Hi Trish, I would make the punch juice portion then ladle into individual glasses. Add fruit to individual glasses and just before serving, top with a small scoop of ice cream.
What liquor would be good to add to this for a bridal shower? A raspberry rum or vodka?
Hi Meg, I actually don’t consume alcohol so I can’t really advise 🙂
I would sub out the club soda for champagne
This is perfect for my girls pool party.
THANK YOU
NATASHA
You’re welcome Amy! Please let me know what everyone thinks of the recipe!
they were in shock that it was home made and it was the perfect drink to cool yourself for a pool party.
THANKS AGAIN NATASHA.
You’re welcome Amy! I’m so glad to hear that, thanks for sharing!! 😀
L-o-v-e this recipe this like perfect for a summer party
Thank you so much for sharing. I drank this yesterday at a bridal shower party and I was amazed. The taste is great.
My pleasure! I’m so glad to hear you love it!
We don’t like carbonation, is there a substitute or can I just omit the fizzy drinks?
Hi Adrienne, I haven’t really experimented with anything that isn’t fizzy for this drink so I’m not sure if it would just taste flat without it…
Can I just get canned pineapple and use with fruit along with its juices ?
Hi Aisha! I haven’t tested that but I think it could work. If you experiment, let me know how you liked the recipe.
Had some at a valentines party and I love it! Perfect flavor . And even yummyer when icecream melts and u stir it again. Mm.
Oh awesome!! I’m so happy you loved it! I love getting a floating scoop in my cup 🙂
it is the best thing i heve ever put in my mouth
Can’t wait to make this! Is it okay to substitute the club soda with ginger ale? What can I use instead of plastic wrap for the scoops ice cream on the sheet?
Hi Samantha, you could lay them out on parchment or wax paper as well :). I haven’t tried substituting with ginger ale, but keep in mind if you try it that ginger ale is very sweet whereas club soda has no sugar in it so your punch would probably end up overly sweet. This is why I would recommend club soda instead of ginger ale.
