Your recipes and videos make me want to cook and believe me I don’t cook! Tried one of your apple pie recipes and loved it. Then I tried the filet Mignon in mushroom sauce…not so good. I had trouble getting the sauce to thicken and could not figure out why. Maybe I did not cook off the alcohol enough? Any ideas?

Hi Elaine, hmm – that is one of our more popular recipes, it sounds like maybe something did go wrong. I would follow each step and yes, make sure to cook down that wine.
