BRILLIANT Blender Recipes
- Our 4-Ingredient Scrambled Eggs: 6 eggs + 2 Tbsp milk or half and half + 1/4 tsp salt & 1/8 tsp black pepper, or season to taste = the fluffiest moist scrambled eggs ever!

- Raspberry Maple Syrup: Surprise your crew at breakfast with this 2-ingredient syrup. Change it up with any berry!

- Creamy Soups: Use a blender for velvety smooth soups that taste gourmet. Try these top-rated creamy soups (It’s so hard to pick a favorite and the blender makes it so easy):
- Tomato Soup
- Sweet Potato Soup
- Cauliflower Soup with Shrimp
- Creamy Carrot Soup
- Roasted Butternut Squash Soup
- Broccoli Cheese Soup

- Crepes made Easy! The how-to is to put everything into the blender and whirl. Bada bing, bada boom, and seriously so simple. Once you have the crepes, you can make our family’s favorite Cheese Crepes in Natasha’s Kitchen Cookbook!
Similar to crepes, you can also make Dutch Baby Pancake and Clafoutis batter in the blender.

- Thick Velvety Smoothies, like our Blueberry Smoothie, this Green Smoothie, or this Mango Smoothie. Once you get on the smoothie train, you’ll want to make all kinds of smoothies. Explore all of our Best Smoothie Recipes Here and let me know what is your favorite smoothie to blend in the comments below.

- Salsa: our favorite roasted tomato salsa or Mom’s adjika come together in seconds! It’s also super easy to make fresh homemade salsa in the blender or pulse some pico de gallo ingredients as a quick topping for tacos.

- Marinades and sauces are way easy. We use a blender for our flank steak marinade and Morrocan chicken marinade, as well as flank steak marinade. We also use it to make all kinds of sauces including Pesto and Hummus.

More Surprising Blender Recipes
- Foamy orange juice – Hear me out on this. My late boss and dear friend, Pearl introduced me to this brilliant idea. The secret isn’t in the brand of OJ you buy but in the blending!
Blending (even an OJ from concentrate) creates a rich foam at the top, making the OJ taste and look super fresh. I recently served it this way to family visiting from out of state and they were all so surprised that all I did was put it into the blender! 😉 It’s almost too easy to be true!

- Ground Coffee – no coffee grinder? No problem! A good blender will mill it for you. Pulse to desired consistency.

- Puree fruit for plum fruit leather or apricot fruit leather. You can also use a blender to make Homemade Applesauce and all kinds of baby food!

There really are so many great uses for a blender, from blending drinks like Brazillian Lemonade to Blueberry Lemon Dutch Baby Pancakes. Let me know what is your favorite way to use a blender in the comments. I sure love using my blender and I’m always looking for new ideas and inspiration to add to my list.
Blender Review
What is the best blender to buy? We’ve definitely had a long history of blender experience and have tried 4 different ones over the course of our 20+ year marriage and we’re quite happy with our latest one. Here are my thoughts on the different blenders we’ve used.
Our First Blender
This cute little blender by Cuisinart was a wedding gift 20+ years ago and we used it for 7 to 8 years. It served us well and even comes with a mini little food processor. I do appreciate a good two-in-one.
Cons: It blends well enough but doesn’t give you a super smooth and thick consistency that you would get in a smoothie shop. You can still see and feel the bits of fruit in your blends.
Upgrading to the Blendtec
We didn’t think we really needed this Wildside Blendtec until we gave it a try, and we were immediately hooked on having a high-powered blender. The blendtec is a beast when it comes to blending and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
We used this for at least 7 years before the gears started to get worn down. While the Blendtec is ultra-powerful, it also sounds a little bit like a construction zone when it’s running. This was more of a consideration when our kids were young and took naps during the day.
The Wolf Blender
The Wolf Gourmet blender is considered a high-end blender. It’s quieter than our Blendtec and it looks stunning. I have a thing for that red knob and the Wolf brand in general (in a ‘stars in my eyes’ kind of way). It’s very classy and not overly industrial-looking.
It also has almost double the jar capacity of our Blendtec so you can make more of anything in one batch which is really nice when you’re whirling up smoothies for the fam, blending soup, salsa, or any blender recipes really! Like the Blendtec, it also has dull-to-the touch blades so it’s safer to wash by hand.
Cons – it never really reached the super smooth blend of the Blendtec so we gave it away and upgraded again.
Our Favorite: Vitamix Blender
This is our current blender. I wanted to see for myself what all the hype was about with the Vitamix, and we have been pleased with its performance. It blends super smooth and is quieter than the Blendtec, which I appreciate. It’s been humming along, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. I also love the large 64 oz capacity.
Cons – it seems a bit wobbly while blending which makes me feel like I have to stand next to the blender and sometimes keep my hand over it until it’s done blending.

We loved your recipes! For our tests on the best blenders we used the “perfect crepes” one 🙂
Awesome! Thank you for sharing that with us.
I had no idea you I could grind coffee using my blender! are you sure it won’t break the blades or damage the motors? Can I use it to grind nuts as well then?
Hi Kelly, it depends on the blender. A high powered blender handles it great. For nut butters, I would recommend the blendtec twister jar (for any really thick mixtures)

I liked #8, foamy orange juice. Do you have a recipe, i want to try it.
Hi Anna 🙂 It’s actually just any orange juice whether it’s store-bought or freshly squeezed. Whirling it up in a blender creates a rich foam that makes any orange juice taste incredibly fresh! No recipe required 🙂

Natasha, love your recipies! Would like to enter to win this amazing blender but the link does not seem to be working… I don’t see anything I could click on at the end of the post. 🙁
Hi Dasha! When you get to the bottom of the post under the section header “The Giveaway” there is a short paragraph and then a box that you click on that says enter the giveaway. It loads larger on desktop at the bottom. If you are still not able to see it even after refreshing your screen, can you let me know what device you’re on (if it is desktop or mobile) and what browser you are using to look at the post? Thank you so much! I am seeing it load on my cell phone and desktop computer but I want to make sure it’s working for everyone! 🙂
It apparently does not work on Google Chrome. I tried Firefox and I can see the box now. Thanks!
Thank you so much for reporting back and letting me know. It’s working on my Chrome browser – I wonder if it has to do with the Chrome version or maybe try clearing your Chrome cookies and see if that helps? I will report it to the Rafflecopter company to let them know though so everyone is able to access it easily in the future. Thanks again!! 🙂
I use blender all the time and I would be so excited to try this one. It looks like a wonder blender that does it all! thank you for such opportunity

Oh wow I can’t believe how useful the blender can be. I never knew that you can use it to grinned coffee. a little question can you use sugar to grind it to a sugar powder?
Hi Vick, yes, isn’t it awesome?! With a high powered blender, you can turn sugar into powdered sugar. You can even use natural or organic sugars to make powdered sugar which is awesome! 🙂
This blender looks nice! How much recipes have you made with it Natasha?
Hi Katya, I’ve had the blender about a month or so and I’ve already used it quite a bit. I tested all of these recipes that I photographed for this post (they are all in the jar of this blender) so it’s already gotten a good amount of use 🙂
